This 12-month program trains students in the core radio, television and new media broadcasting skills needed to bring stories to life. 

Graduates will possess the knowledge, skills, and competencies to:

  • Deliver on-air news, sports, weather and features
  • Write news stories for on-air broadcast
  • Market and manage company branding via web and social media
  • Edit program material using non-linear editing stations
  • Operate professional news gathering equipment
  • Work with industry-standard software to create audio, video and graphic effects

Learn the fundamentals of quality digital video creation, production, and editing. 

Graduates will possess the knowledge, skills and competencies to:

  • Transform scripts into video productions
  • Create and maintain a website
  • Edit program material using non-linear editing stations
  • Work with multiple software programs to create still and motion graphics
  • Publish video to the web

Find out how to visually communicate brand, concepts and ideas for print and web design.

Graduates will possess the knowledge, skills, and competencies to:
