The Academic Achievement Center (AAC) is a support hub for Lawrence Tech students and faculty. LTU students can get help with homework or test preparation, compare notes, meet with study groups, or seek that spark of needed motivation.

For many, the AAC is simply a friendly place to be with others. The AAC also offers instructional handouts to take home and miscellaneous learning aids to use at the AAC, including software, reference materials and videos.

LTU faculty members and exemplary students are available for tutoring in architecture and design, chemistry, computer science, engineering, ESL conversation, mathematics, physics, and writing courses.

Self Directed Study Groups

Take control of study time to prepare for classes and exams. With training and facilitation by AAC staff, students can direct the study group meetings by themselves.

Learn basic skills such as listening, note taking, test taking, effective reading of textbooks and literature, research, and time/stress management.
